IPS is not a UPS

Main problem to be solved:
Some power disturbance is necessary to occur because of inherent limitation in power generation,transmission and distribution system, and these unstable factors are sure to affect the enterprise’s production. To eliminate the power disturbance occurd during production process, we have designed new system which can solve the below problem:

Application note
About the output precision
At utility normal, IPS is direct, for it mainly supply to the industrial load. In the industry environment, much loads, include the generator etc., which are supplied directly by the utility originally. There is no disposal need for the voltage when adopting IPS, especially no request for voltage stability of the IPS, which with transducer. So at utility situation, output=input.
Disposal of voltage, such as on-line UPS double conversion, output voltage precision is very high, but also high power loss.
Few load ask for high voltage precision, could adopt UPS local protection, that is solution of IPS+UPS.
About switch time
IPS need 4ms switch time that is safe to industry loads, truly realizing uninterruptible.
When the power supply stops, due to inertia, motor continue to rotate within 10ms.
Computer load still can bear the feedback energy within 10ms because of energy storage capacitor.
About electric energy feedback
When the power supply stops (power shutdown), motor continues to rotate due to inertia, resulting in feedback energy whose instantaneous release would add to power/UPS/IPS or other loads and perhaps damage equipment because of high voltage. So IPS equipment has feedback energy absorption device. But for the application of large power motor, the configuration of transducer and feedback energy device should be considered.
There is device similar to feedback energy absorption device inside transducer.
About long backup time and battery configuration
IPS supply the backup time within 30 minutes.
If long backup time needed, load and environment temperature should be considered.
more than 30 minutes, IPS load be controlled within 50%
Standard temperature 0~40 °C,if the application environment with 40~50 °C, IPS load be controlled within 50%.
Lengthen backup time within 15~30 minutes, with general batteries.
Lengthen backup time within 10 minutes, with high-rate batteries.

IP protection level consists of 2 figures. The first one shows the level that UPS keep away from dust and prevent intrusion; the second one shows the level of UPS’ moisture-proof and water-proof. Big figure means high protection level.
